As the Provider Recruitment Manager, you will be directly and indirectly managing provider recruitment operational work units inclusive of other leaders and individual contributors. You will ensure that efforts are made to close provider network gaps and support provider capacity. Regularly assess recruiting operational processes to determine where process improvement and strategic initiatives are warranted. You will function as an advisor and/or facilitator on the implementation of such efforts. Ensure that work-unit projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Manage the work unit’s performance outcomes by tracking and measuring KPIs as relevant to the line of business/client. Oversee provider network expansion and optimizing utilization within the assigned region across all lines of business/client.

In this rewarding role you will:

  • Create and implement strategies that promote provider retention through the resolution of non-clinical provider issues for all lines of business.
  • Evaluate and discern, ultimately making recommendations on the continued use of paid recruiting resources; insuring ROI.
  • Monitor and align the work activities of assigned team members to ensure the timely completion of all assignments and that productivity standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Train and coach members of assigned team to ensure competency in contracting providers so that they may provide accurate ‘first line’ orientations to prospective providers of the Leidos QTC Health Services Business Model and Value Proposition
  • Manage the performance and behavior of assigned individual contributors via constructs such as regular one-on-one meetings. Document and conduct employee performance reviews in addition to managing any progressive disciplinary actions needed.
  • Establish individual and team communication and operational rhythms that support employee development, work productivity, collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Partners with Provider Utilization work units to conduct reviews of primary physician, specialty and ancillary networks to identify needs and opportunities for expansion within assigned territory or work units across all lines of business
  • Develops both internal and external strategies to source and secure potential providers within their assigned territory or work units.
  • Review and approve provider fee requests, generate tableau reports, and assist with coordination of urgent business needs (securing timeshares, opening new clinics, referral surges)
  • Develop the strategies and high-level recruiting execution plan in support of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), adding new LOB’s, and building provider networks
  • Be the primary point of contact for the respective territory or work unit to Operations leaders and internal customers and supporting provider utilization meetings and other meetings relating to provider recruitment
  • Collaborate and provide resolution to any operational issues, concerns or challenges
  • When necessary, communicates and escalates challenges, proposes solutions to senior leadership team as necessary
  • Facilitate team performance improvement measures, in conjunction with other Leidos QTC Health Services functional stakeholders (Regional Utilization Team, Mobile Clinic Operations, Operations, Credentialing, Provider Liaison).
  • Identify and maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Be responsible for monitoring and managing operational expenses (OPEX)
  • Attend networking conferences and job fairs; occasional travel may be required
  • Ensure strict confidentiality with respect to Leidos QTC Health Services operations, policies and procedures
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Competencies:

  • Superior interpersonal skills for training, collaborating with and engaging all levels of staff
  • Ability to assess the operational and competency training required to facilitate the development of team members and the collective work unit, ultimately improving overall work-unit effectiveness
  • Ability to effectively document operational challenges in addition to employee relations investigations
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to effectively present information and influence the audience in addition effectively writing policies and procedures.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to assess data, make recommendations and business decisions based off that data assessment. (Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Tableau capabilities)
  • The ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities, from a Project Management perspective; multiple, high-level initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate easily through internal systems such as (Kronos, CRM/PRM, Tracking Tools, E-process, APAS, etc.).

Education and/or Experience Requirements: (includes certificate & licenses)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Minimum of 7 years of previous management/supervisory experience required
  • Related industry experience is preferred (healthcare, recruiting, medical sales)
  • Knowledge of contracting medical provider is preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

Pay and Benefits: 

Salary: $107,640- $131,560 (pay varies based off location) w/ 10% annual bonus eligibility.
