In this role you will utilize your experience developing mobile apps within the client’s primary Android platform, working within a team to meet mission needs.Are you ready to make an impact? Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career, submit your resume to us today!In this role you will assist the client program manager with operational support, database support, collaboration with other operational teams, briefing customers, and the development and execution of strategy for complex technical solutions that are widely used and relied upon. This will include : Working within a team environment to achieve objectives,Utilizing your soft skills to interface and communicate with mission partners, team members, and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment,Work with customers to translate operational needs into technical requirements,Track program progress, risks, issues, and dependencies,Serve as a geospatial technology and mobile Subject Matter Expert (SME),Support technical meetings with vendors to communicate program and mission requirements,Provide technical advice and direction based on practical knowledge of mobile phone hardware, mobile operating systems (Android / iOS), software (commercial, FOSS, and GOTS), and security mechanisms,Interact with the client’s Enterprise teams to integrate client’s geospatial mission data within a common, enterprise web application, to include system administration, database administration, file, and access management functions using Amazon EC2, S3, and related services,Develop mobile applications and be proficient with both Android and iOS app development.Required Security Clearance : Active TS / SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.Required Experience, Skills, and Education : Active TS / SCI with Polygraph security clearanceBachelor's degree and 12 years of work experience, additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeDemonstrated experience with strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and servicesDemonstrated ability to develop Android / iOS mobile applications using React including proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Nodejs, and JavascriptDemonstrated experience developing Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron frameworkDemonstrated experience working with small teams to manage software development activitiesDemonstrated experience working with customers to define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI / UX designDemonstrated experience managing iterative software development releasesDemonstrated experience tracking development sprints using JIRADemonstrated experience managing source code in GitHub and GitLabDemonstrated experience developing test plansDemonstrated experience providing technical support and training to a broad client baseDemonstrated experience understanding emerging technical trendsDemonstrated experience in software engineering and developmentDemonstrated experience supporting technical operationsDesired Experience, Skills, and Education : Demonstrated experience with strong communication skills (written and verbal)Demonstrated experience documenting process and proceduresDemonstrated experience with tool idea conceptualization and requirements designDemonstrated experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platformsAdvanced degree in Software Engineering or similar field of studyOriginal Posting Date : 2025-01-29While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range : Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
