Are you an experienced Bioprocess Engineer with a passion for advancing biomanufacturing technologies? If you have 5 to 10 years of industry experience and are ready to take your career in a non-traditional direction, we want you to join our dynamic team. As a Bioprocess Engineer at Leidos, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing the processes used by the biopharmaceutical industry in optimizing and scaling up their production lines.
Responsibilities:
Analyze established biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes to enhance understanding of their efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Diligently analyze bioprocesses
Foster seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate all aspects of manufacturing processes used to produce microorganisms, peptides, and proteins.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related field.
5 or more years of hands-on experience in bioprocess engineering in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream processes for bioproduction.
Proficiency in process modeling and data analysis.
Experience with process scale-up and technology transfer.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
Self-motivated and driven to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Salary : $78,000 - $141,000
