As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will work with both developmental and operational teams to establish and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) for our systems. Your expertise will help implement and manage configuration management (CM) policies and procedures, ensuring successful execution throughout the entire lifecycle of our systems, from initial requirements to end-of-life.
Clearance Requirement : Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and adhering to hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize configuration management tools to effectively store, track, and manage configuration items.
- Document hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures with clarity.
- Implement and improve upon version control processes for both hardware and software as you collaborate with development teams.
- Support the maintenance and development of environments for hardware and software product builds, staging, testing, and integration.
- Help define hardware and software CM processes, creating product build scripts and integrating them into the development process.
- Utilize CM tools like DOORS and Eclipse to manage configuration items.
- Serve as an advisor to the Government Change Control Board (CCB), contributing to effective change management.
- Ensure compliance with established version control policies during hardware and software development projects.
- Work independently to maintain and enhance the CM environment for product builds and integrations.
Basic Qualifications
You should have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager on similar programs and contracts, along with a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution. A master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to six (6) years. Additionally, four (4) years of extra CM experience may replace a bachelor's degree.
If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience with a source code control system is required.

Pay Range :
The pay range for this position is $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. Factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
