Leidos is seeking a dedicated Cyber Intelligence Instructor Specialist to support the United States Air Force at Kelly Base, Lackland AFB. In this critical role, you will deliver professional military instruction for the 39th Information Operations Squadron (Detachment 1), 16th Air Force, under the guidance of Air Combat Command (ACC), USCYBERCOM, and the Department of Defense (DOD). The primary responsibility will be to instruct the Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis Course (CTIAC). A current TS / SCI security clearance is required on day one.
As a Cyber Intelligence Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering course materials tailored for DOD personnel, ensuring the curriculum aligns with USCYBERCOM requirements. Your work will include crafting engaging training exercises, maintaining up-to-date course content, facilitating student-led pre-mission briefings, and administering academic assessments. The CTIAC course spans 5 weeks, with five courses scheduled per calendar year. Off-course weeks will involve reviewing lessons learned and preparing for forthcoming sessions.
Requirements for this role include becoming instructor certified through the 39th IOS (Det 1) Instructor Methodology Course and completing the Instructor Systems Design Course (ISD) within your first year of employment. As an instructor, you will also need to uphold qualification standards set by the USAF and the 39th IOS Instructor Operating Guide.
Candidates should possess extensive knowledge in current USCYBERCOM Cyber Threat Intelligence Operations, utilizing various tools and intelligence holdings to share best practices with Joint Force Cyber students.
Required Qualifications :
TS / SCI security clearance on day 1.
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
Required to attend and graduate from the Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis Course (CTIAC) upon hire.
Complete the 39th Information Operations Squadron (Det 1) USAF Instructor Methodology Course (IMC) and the 39th IOS Instructor Systems Design Course within the first year.
Aim for a Qualification Evaluation Rating of (Q2) or above as a certified instructor.
Highly Desired Qualifications :
Experience in cyber targeting or related fields.
Existing instructor certification.
Graduate of CTIAC.
Military experience in Cyber / Intelligence and an understanding of DODIN.
Additional relevant experience is a plus.
Pay Range :
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,600.00 to $145,700.00. This range is a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary, as factors like responsibilities, education, experience, and market alignment will be considered during the hiring process.
