Description
Join Leidos as a Cyber Security Analyst in our Security Operations Center (SOC) supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Our dedicated team of 20 analysts operates around the clock to ensure the security and integrity of vital data.
This position requires onsite work either in Fairmont, WV, or Boulder, CO.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Monitor and report on cyber security status in near-real-time to facilitate prompt decision-making.
- Work according to established operational rhythms and standards as part of the SOC team.
- Support 24 / 7 operations, including 8-hour shifts during weekdays and 12-hour shifts on weekends.
- Investigate and escalate security incidents as directed according to established protocols and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Utilize strong network engineering and Security -type skills for investigative functions.
- Adhere to documented procedures while looking for opportunities to improve processes and effectiveness.
