Join our innovative team at Leidos, where we tackle complex challenges across the defense, space, cyber, and commercial sectors. We are looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Compliance Officer to support our Classified Information System Cybersecurity Program and help ensure the security of our operations.
Your primary responsibility will be contributing to the compliance and security of classified information systems. You will report directly to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our cybersecurity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor system compliance while conducting audits, developing security plans, and promoting information systems security awareness.
- Investigate security violations and prepare reports on corrective and preventive measures.
- Perform technical and administrative assessments.
- Implement new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools effectively.
- Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating cybersecurity documentation.
- Oversee daily compliance operations for our classified information systems, including :
- Auditing systems to ensure adherence to security policies and reporting discrepancies.
- Supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization process and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Reviewing and approving Configuration Management (CM) requests.
- Assisting with the sanitization and release of hardware according to security policies.
- Testing and applying required technical security controls and performing periodic inspections of information systems.
