The Digital Modernization Sector of Leidos is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our Defense Enclave Services team at Ft. Meade, MD area.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Cybersecurity Project Manager will manage projects and assist other project managers with projects supporting the DES program cybersecurity engineering and operations groups primarily. Types of projects could include, but are not limited to, assisting Director and Deputy Director with managing contractual deliverables, engineering projects such as building out a new capability; starting, improving, and transitioning services; auditing and compliance, such as attaining / maintaining Authority-to-Operate (ATO); driving implementation of Comply-to-Connect (C2C) solutions; and upgrading infrastructure or transitioning to the Cloud. Projects can also encompass adding subscribers to cybersecurity services and developing new operational capabilities.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must possess an active DoD Secret or above clearance to be considered for this role. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Work cooperatively with federal and contractor cybersecurity engineering and / or operations personnel to successfully complete assigned projects and contract deliverables within time, scope, and budget constraints.
Lead, manage, and / or assist engineering, operations, and other project management personnel as needed for each project.
Develop various project plans, as needed, for resourcing time, funding, materials, and people.
Keep a well-managed repository of project documentation.
Develop, review, and update project and other documentation, as needed.
Build and maintain team and federal government customer relations for consistent and timely communication of dependencies, issues, challenges, and progress.
Plan, gather, and update artifacts and documentation for future audits, ATO renewals, etc.
Provide regular reporting to internal program management and the customer in the form of meetings, standardized deliverables, reports, and presentations.
Develop and improve processes for accomplishing project work.
Stay up to date on cybersecurity and project management methodologies, techniques, processes, and procedures.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience; or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Minimum six years' experience in IT engineering, information system security management, and / or operations in a federal customer cybersecurity environment.
Must posses an active DoD Secret or above clearance prior to start date with Leidos
DoD IAT Level II certification (Security ) prior to start date with Leidos
Strong oral and written communications skills, including experience writing and delivering status reports, meeting minutes capture, project documentation, presentations, as well as leading meetings, stakeholder discussions, etc.
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
Experience supporting technical projects, particularly cybersecurity projects.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects and / or technically complex projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Additional cybersecurity certifications, e.g. CEH, CIH, CYSA .
PMP or equivalent, e.g. DOD or DHS project / program management certification, or project management bachelor's / master's degree from accredited institution.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile certifications.
Knowledge of standard security controls per National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53.
Project management experience with a U.S. federal customer, especially DoD.
Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Project®.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
