Position Summary
The Electrical Assembler shall be skilled in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electric, electronic and mechanical prototypes and products, ensuring quality standards are met by properly connecting wires, installing parts and performing basic testing of completed items with a quality and reliability focus.
Capabilities
- Accurately assemble electrical components, including wires, circuit boards, connectors, and enclosures, following established procedures, wiring diagrams and schematics, using various tools and measuring instruments
- Independently perform tests and document the tests results, following an approved test plan
- Write specifications, reports and technical manuals
- Prepare, order, track and inventory parts lists
- Work with and take direction from Electrical Engineers and Systems Engineers
Required Experience
- Secret Clearance
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Four (4) years’ experience in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electrical, electronic and mechanical prototypes and products.
- IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-620 Certified
- Self-Motivated, problem solver.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
