The National Security Sector at Leidos is looking for an Electrician Specialist to support critical operations at Fort Liberty, NC. This is a unique chance to apply your expertise in aiding the INSCOM mission.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the electrical systems of unit facilities, ensuring reliable power to mission-critical operations while planning and executing repair and renovation projects.
- Offer technical assistance for electrical maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs.
- Handle installation and maintenance of low-voltage power wiring (480 / 277, 600 volts) in compliance with regulations, ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld.
- Compile detailed reports on equipment failures, maintenance needs, and lifecycle replacements.
- Respond promptly to service calls and perform preventive maintenance inspections, documenting findings in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Utilize US Army quality assurance procedures to maintain adherence to Department of Defense specifications and safety standards.
- Provide electrical design insights for engineering plans and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
- Deliver 24 / 7 emergency technical support for mission-critical equipment.
- Perform power quality measurements and devise plans to rectify deficiencies.
- Support US Army operations on-site and be willing to deploy globally, providing rapid technical assistance for military missions in potentially hazardous environments.
- Demonstrate physical capability by navigating small spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs.
