The Mission
Join the Leidos team as we provide the essential backbone for the Service, Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program. We offer vital cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport, supporting network modernization initiatives to equip Sailors, Marines, and civilians with the tools necessary for enhancing naval capabilities and achieving strategic objectives.
Your Main Objective :
- Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain IT systems in both standalone and client-server environments—including Microsoft server, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized IT systems.
- Assess and resolve customer Information System (IS) challenges, performing necessary hardware upgrades and repairs to ensure mission readiness.
- Set up and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, and ensure the efficient operation of workstation hardware and software within a network. Troubleshoot and optimize Local Area Networks (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN).
