Description Leidos currently has an opening for a Flight Test Engineer to work in Chantilly, VA. The candidate will be responsible for the planning and conduct of program test and evaluation activities at multiple government and contractor sites and USG test range facilities. A successful candidate’s insight will be the basis for input and advice to the customer Chief Engineer and Program Director and will have significant impacts to enterprise system implementation strategies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Coordinate of day-to-day efforts between multiple stakeholders working at different geographic locations. Maintain strong relationship with multiple test organizations – integrating Contractor Test (CT), Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT)Provide customer leadership with technical advice / input that directly impacts customer strategic goalsWrite and / or review test plans, accomplish test data / product analysis, oversee requirement verification activities, and write and / or review final test reportsDevelop and maintain program testing master plansCoordinate and execute test range activities for system and subsystem testingDevelop, coordinate, and / or evaluate Modeling and Simulation (M&S) effortsRequired ExperienceBS in an engineering discipline or a related field and approximately 12 years of relevant experience, or MS in in an engineering discipline or a related field with approximately 10 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated experience working with Special Access Program and / or Sensitive Compartmented Information activitiesStrong Electronic Warfare (EW) experienceStrong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skillsExperience with military Flight Test and military EW test range operationsSecurity Clearance : Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, and willingness to submit to and successfully complete a Counterintelligence PolygraphDesired Experience : USAF or USN Test Pilot School graduateFamiliarity with Agile Software development methodologyDAWIA or equivalent certification in Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and / or Program ManagementOriginal Posting Date : 2025-01-09While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range : Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
