Leidos National Security Sector, Decision Advantage Business Area, Office of Technology, is in search of a Lead Solutions Architect to spearhead groundbreaking initiatives that address the rapidly changing challenges and requirements within the Department of Defense (DoD) and mission partner operational landscape. This role emphasizes the development and integration of advanced systems in Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3), cyber technology, electronic warfare, digital infrastructure, mission planning (MP), and command and control (C2) systems, prioritizing software-driven solutions.
This role is critical in supporting engagements with the U.S. Air Force, specifically collaborating with the Information Dominance Systems Center and AFLCMC / HB. The focus will be on shaping the Air Force's contributions to Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2)—a revolutionary warfighting concept that connects global sensors and shooters.
The ideal candidate will collaborate across the Decision Advantage Business Area and partner with senior leadership across the Leidos enterprise—including National Security, Defense Systems, and Health & Civil sectors—to pursue, win, and deliver mission-critical programs that leverage comprehensive, enterprise-wide capabilities.
This is a hybrid position (75% telework and 25% onsite), with preferred base locations of Reston, Arlington, Huntsville, San Diego / La Jolla, Denver / Aurora, Dayton, or Orlando. The selected candidate is also expected to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design and implement innovative Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) solutions to meet defense and mission partner goals while addressing both classified and unclassified mission requirements.
- Engage in strategy development and adjustments that align closely with executable actions.
- Create cutting-edge solutions that integrate capabilities across data systems, mission planning, and command and control, ensuring alignment with national security applications.
- Collaborate with technical teams and Business Development to ascertain customer needs and lead solution development that strategically influence project goals.
- Provide technical leadership on a mix of customer- and internally-funded projects and programs.
- Facilitate cross-organizational support for advancing new concepts and practices.

Pay Range : Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
