The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist Site Lead to support the Warfighter Readiness program at Fort Liberty(Fort Bragg). The candidate will provide logistics support by managing and overseeing PdM TCNO NET/NEF operations at various military installations (CONUS/OCONUS). Duties include briefing leadership at all levels, conducting synchronization (SYNC) conferences, delivering New Material Introductory Briefs (NMIB), and facilitating In-Process Reviews (IPRs) with units scheduled for fielding. Plans, manages, and coordinates logistics activities for a site or project. This position will require travel up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report personnel on the ground, to include (name, organization, position, rank and nature of visit.
  • Ensure that the gaining unit is familiar with all products and support specified.
  • Provide a daily site status report to the Branch Chief, and Fielding Manager
  • Ensure that the gaining unit is familiar with all products and support specified.
  • Responsible for the detailed accounting of expendable and non-expendable Government property issued on a DA Form 1348 and DD Form 1149
  • Ensure documents are accurate and properly input into the DPAS automated system.
  • Establish administrative procedures and oversee the flow of documents and reports to assure complete, accurate, and timely submission of data.
  • Make decisions based on the commander's guidance and intent in the area of property assignments.
  • Establish quality control procedures to oversee NET/NEF at designated locations for fielding, training, and engineering of personnel
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate the logistics and property accountability policies for the assigned programs.
  • Determine shortages of authorized non-expendable equipment and direct authorized substitutes in accordance with appropriate regulations and directives.
  • Perform continuing analysis of the property accounting and equipment status reporting system to assure data provided is complete, accurate and timely.
  • Ensure Sufficient space and power for training classrooms (if training is to be conducted at unit location
  • Review with POC The Post Equipment Delivery Policy and if Deliveries can be made to Mission Site or have to be received at the Posts Central Receiving Point (CRP)
  • Travel up to 50% to CONUS and OCONUS locations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration or related field with 7 or more years of experience in Military Logistics and/or civilian equivalent training and twenty (20) years' of contracting military Logistics, Logistics Fielding Management experience and/or retired Property Book Officer.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Proficient with Property Book
  • Must be able to independently maneuver within ARs 710-2, 710-4, and 735-5.
  • Must be able to explain, justify, rationalize, and defend regulatory requirements; provide direction; find solutions
  • Must have experience with DPAS and AESIP

Pay Range

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary : $63,700 - $115,150
