Primary Responsibilities
Oversee a team responsible for planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling production schedules, while ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production needs.
Manage order demand within CostPoint, including Inventory Reservations and MRP.
Lead a requisitioning team for raw materials and outsourced processing.
Maintain an effective master production schedule.
Facilitate status meetings with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Conduct capacity analysis and collaborate with the Business Development Team.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as On-time Delivery and Requisition Processing Delays.
Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
Continuously work to enhance on-time delivery performance.
Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement within the team.
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field, along with 5 or more years of leadership experience in production control within a manufacturing context (DOD Preferred) or a related combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with AS9100 Aerospace Standards is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of Deltek CostPoint, including MRP and CMR functionalities.
Experience with multi-resource scheduling is essential; CNC machining environment experience is advantageous.
Understanding Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Leader Standard Work, etc.) is required.
Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., Fishbone, 5 Why) is important.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, with the ability to lead meetings effectively.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (or be able to obtain and maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of raw materials, hardware, and finishing procedures relevant to machining parts.
Ability to collaborate with division and corporate leadership in strategic planning and long-term vision development for the department.
Experience in commodity and strategic buying is desirable.
Familiarity with material and operational traceability requirements.
Experience using Solumina MES is a bonus.

Pay Range : Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
