Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Security Operations Center (SOC) is dedicated to protecting CBP networks from cyber threats. Our mission is to proactively identify, contain, and mitigate cyber threats through comprehensive monitoring and protective security services. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding CBP information systems, including LAN / WAN environments, cloud services, and more.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Conduct internal and external penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Perform web application penetration testing to ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Execute vulnerability risk assessments that provide insights into potential security weaknesses.
- Carry out physical penetration tests and social engineering assessments to evaluate security practices.
- Assist with cyber incident response activities as needed.

Clearance : All CBP SOC employees must successfully pass a CBP Background Investigation to fulfill security requirements.
