Leidos is seeking a Intermediate Network Management Engineer for a position as part of a team supporting the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) in Pensacola, FL or Columbus, OH. This is an onsite position, no full-time telework allowed.The Network Management Engineer will support tasks on the contract related to the UCSA Core Infrastructure. This includes management of multiple network enclaves that work together to provide one seamless environment allowing users easy access to the services provided by the UCSA program. The management of core infrastructure includes a large collection of networks, systems, storage infrastructure, as well as a core set of supporting services like Identity and Access Management, Domain Name Service, and others as required.Primary Responsibilities : Aids in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation and the maintenance of upgrading existing networks.Analyzes, designs, specifies, documents, and implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment.Maintains a broad knowledge of network communications and local area network / wide area network (LAN / WAN) operations and has a demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments.Engage with the customer to resolve issues with incomplete or unclear requirements.Reach out to stakeholders and facilitates approvals as necessary to ensure continual forward progress of the service request.Design data and voice networks carried over various transmissions systems, router to router connections using military and commercial protocols such as BGP and ISIS, switch-to-switch trunking to include VLANS, and circuit configurations through multiplexers.Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience in the development, implementation and production support of network infrastructures / environments.Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level I approved certification (CompTIA Security ) or greater.Experience with network services (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP / IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF, etc.) and network appliances (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, domain name servers).Understanding of network services (e.g. DNS, Firewalls, Routers, Ports and Protocols, etc.).Knowledge of implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network systems.Demonstrated experience and / or familiarity with one of more of the following : Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVMs), etc.Ability to maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workersProactive, dependable and accurate with strong attention to detail and organizationStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications : Juniper ExperienceExperience with DISA Network EnclavesAWS cloud practitioner certificationF5 Application Delivery Controller experienceCisco ISEBroadcom ProxyPalo Alto firewallsFamiliarity with ITIL / SAFe AgileExperience with Defensive Cyber Systems and OperationsGeneral understanding of cryptographic concepts : symmetric / asymmetric cryptography, secure hash, digital signatures.Original Posting Date : 2025-02-10While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range : Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
