Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center customer at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH).
Primary Responsibilities
Provide technical services to perform Maritime Patrol & Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) and/or Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) reconstruction and analysis on Anti- Submarine Warfare (ASW) events.
Perform data collection, data reduction, data reconstruction and analysis in support of Fleet events as it pertains to all aspects of Fleet ASW missions.
Prior Combat Training Continuum program (ACTC) level 3 or 4 (WTI) P-8A/P-3C TACCO/Pilot or MH-60R/SH-60B Helicopter Aircraft Commander.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform data collection, data reduction, data reconstruction and analysis in support of Fleet events as it pertains to all aspects of Fleet ASW missions.
- Data collection. Obtain required data to perform event reconstruction and analysis from participating squadrons and crews. Coordinate data collection with Fleet platforms and other participating agencies, collect and compile platform data packages.
- Data reduction and processing. Perform data reduction and conversion, and process platform and range data into data files to perform real-time or post-operational exercise debriefs.
- Data reconstruction. Perform event reconstruction to develop contextualized event overview and playback for post-event debriefs of ASW exercises and operational missions. Extract, process, reduce, transcribe, transfer, and reconstruct exercise data. Perform detailed event and data analysis and create video replays.
- Data analysis. Perform data analysis to develop post event lessons learned feedback on ASW tactics, techniques, and procedures in support of MPRA/HSM ASW mission.
- Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience working in the MPRA/HSM ASW field.
- BA or BS degree in a relevant field. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience with data collection, data reduction, data reconstruction and analysis support of Fleet events using ASW analysis tools such as Visual Information System for Training and Analysis (VISTA).
- Experience with ASW Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TIP) analysis and development.
- Experience with data reconstruction and data analysis from modeling and simulations, historical databases, exercises and operations.
- Ability to update tools to support new platform formats for data reconstruction and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working on high-visibility or mission critical programs and performing duties independently.
- Active Top Secret clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for SCI access.
