Leidos is seeking a dedicated System Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract with the Department of Defense. In this role, you will oversee operations across multiple geographic areas and provide critical systems and software support in a vast network environment. Your collaboration with a team will ensure that mission requirements are met and the capabilities of our customers remain functional.
This position is ideal for a technical, customer-focused individual who is experienced in using desktop applications, including web browsing and IT Service Management (ITSM) software. Attention to detail is necessary to accurately address customer inquiries. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as you will interact with a diverse range of clientele, including senior executives. Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), token cards, and soft-certificates is essential, as you will facilitate authentication within classified systems and assist with digitally signing and encrypting communications. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the PKI main office, troubleshooting remote user issues, training Trusted Agents at various sites, and ensuring PKI servers are operational and properly maintained.

Primary Tasks
Engage effectively with customers and senior managers to address service inquiries and issues.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information, analyze data, and implement solutions for incident tickets and requirements.Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain complex PKI systems, including RCVS, OCSP, and other identity management tools.Enforce security strategies and policies within the established operational framework.Design, develop, and document solutions for intricate active directory and Windows issues.Provide detailed follow-up reports on technical findings, resolutions, and process improvements.Guide and mentor junior team members.Update and maintain troubleshooting documentation for 24 / 7 IT Operations Center personnel.Basic Qualifications
Proficient knowledge of Identity and Access Management technical areas and broad expertise across various systems.Experience with RCVS, OCSP, Certificate Authorities, and other PKI technologies.Understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) systems security standards and tools.A strong track record of independently resolving technical issues in client support.Experience in issuing, troubleshooting, and managing token cards for two-factor authentication.Familiarity with resolving soft-certificate issues for both local and remote customers.Experience in Tier 2 system / server administration.Innovative thinking to address a wide array of assignments.Proficient in developing methodologies and presenting solutions to team members.Collaborative experience in reviewing work and requirements with team members.Proficiency in log analysis, incident investigation, and issue trend identification.Experience in utilizing IT Service Management tools, such as Service Now, for tracking and resolving customer incidents.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.Education :
Bachelor's degree with 4 - 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2 - 6 years of relevant experience.Clearance :
US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support.A TS / SCI clearance with a Polygraph is required or the ability to obtain one.Certifications :
You must meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements such as Cloud , GICSP, SSCP, Security CE, GSEC, or higher.The expected salary for this position ranges from $72,150.00 to $130,425.00. The pay range is a guideline and may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, and other factors.
