The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Senior Business Development and Capture Executive to support our Enterprise Digital Experience (EDX) Practice at our Leidos Headquarters in Reston, VA.
POSITION SUMMARY :
We are looking for a dynamic leader to spearhead marketing, communications, and business development initiatives for our Enterprise Digital Experience (EDX) Practice. This key role will craft strategies to enhance how we position and deliver our repeatable offerings (ROs) across the organization. The ideal candidate will blend strategic marketing expertise with extensive business development experience to catalyze the adoption of EDX solutions in our federal practice, while ensuring that our knowledge management approach scales with growth. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT :
No initial clearance is required to start; however, you must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a robust marketing and communication strategy for the EDX Practice, positioning it as a leader in digital transformation.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a scalable knowledge management framework.
- Drive innovative business development initiatives to enhance practice reach and impact.
- Design and implement internal evangelism programs for EDX capabilities.
- Guide the evolution of practice offerings based on market analysis and stakeholder feedback.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS :
12 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven success in driving the adoption of technical solutions.
Experience with federal government contracting and proposal processes.
Strong understanding of digital transformation and IT modernization.
Experience leading go-to-market strategies for advanced technologies such as automation, digital experience, AI, cyber, and zero trust.
Background in knowledge management and content strategy.
Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement.
Experience in leading marketing or business development initiatives.
Ability to distill complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, from technical experts to executives.
