Position Summary :
This role is pivotal in shaping innovative identity, security, and combat system solutions that empower our customers to transform and modernize their force protection missions. As the technical and strategic lead, you will collaborate with a diverse team to understand customer requirements through direct interaction and develop tailored solutions that address current and future needs within the Force Protection market.
Your role will serve as a critical interface between our programs, customers, and senior management at Leidos, allowing you to ensure our leadership fully grasps the nuances of customer domains, pain points, and strategic objectives. This understanding will be essential in driving business development and technology integration initiatives aimed at capturing high-value opportunities and ensuring growth on existing contracts.
Primary Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include :
- Engaging in customer shaping efforts, requirements gathering, and supporting proposal activities while leveraging industry trends and Leidos capabilities.
- Conducting thorough market research and product comparisons for force protection processes and tools, evaluating technologies for optimal customer integration.
- Participating in customer engagements by analyzing needs and aligning them with available solutions to enhance operational efficacy.
- Driving opportunity shaping efforts to showcase Leidos technology differentiators and integrate them into customer operations.
- Organizing project workloads and assembling teams best suited for specific tasks.
- Ensuring technical organization follows campaign strategies and meets business objectives through diligent oversight.
- Delivering innovative solutions through research and integration of industry best practices.
- Identifying and leading investment projects for emerging technologies to develop scalable solutions that distinguish Leidos in the market.
- Supporting customer meetings and facilitating technical discussions.
- Leading internal research and development activities within the Force Protection domain, managing budgets and schedules effectively.
- Acting as a subject matter expert, translating solution requirements into comprehensive design documentation.
- Providing guidance on key design decisions related to solutions, project phases, and technical evaluations.
