What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Systems Architect position at Leidos?
We are seeking a skilled IT professional to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our Information Technology (IT) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems, as well as knowledge of security procedures and tools.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage user access, network rights, and implement security measures
- Configure and manage operating systems, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components
- Provide technical support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization
- Provide in-depth technical support and analysis for escalated issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 5 years of additional experience may be substituted
- Experience with LINUX, Windows, Visual Basic, Python, Virtualization, Ansible, and containers such as Docker
Security Clearance:
A valid Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
