The field of Electronic Warfare (EW) is rapidly advancing, focusing on safeguarding our warfighters and national security against evolving threats. Join the Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) team as a Signal Processing Specialist and play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and reliability of sensors and signals in complex environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with leading scientists and industry experts, fostering both your professional growth and career advancement.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Developing, modeling, and testing algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, or C .
  • Analyzing results from simulations or real data to identify root causes and trends.
  • Creating innovative and advanced algorithms, alongside performance simulations and analyses, utilizing both simulated and real data in time series and spectral domains.
  • Participating in lab-based and field testing initiatives.
  • Supporting marketing and business development efforts.
  • Engaging with multiple projects and collaborating with customers.

Required Qualifications :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Four or more years of experience in radar signal processing.
  • Proficient in tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, and Simulink, as well as programming languages like C / C and Java.
  • Solid understanding of digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Active TS / SCI clearance is advantageous.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in task leadership or team management.
  • Proven capability to translate functional requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Background in modeling and simulation (M&S), radar systems, adaptive radar, algorithm development, or synthetic aperture radar (SAR).

    Pay Range : $85,150.00 - $153,925.00

    The Leidos pay range for this position serves as a guideline, and the actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
