Leidos is excited to announce an opening for a Software Systems Engineer to support the DCGS-N Help Desk, a vital component of the Navy's premier Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system. This position involves engaging with the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems, including all Afloat and Ashore DCGS-N systems, the Joint Concentrator Architecture (JCA), and emerging systems.
The DCGS-N Help Desk operates 24 / 7, providing hardware, software, and operational support to our customers. As a Software Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless application configurations and require a strong understanding of n-tier Enterprise applications architecture and management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Engage in software and hardware investigations based on trouble calls during transition phases.
- Create detailed Technical Assistance reports for all customer support interactions.
- Assist program management in systems engineering and testing to address system issues, with potential travel for urgent operational support.
- Provide installation assistance to the DCGS-N In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA).
- Participate in assessments and inspections for shore and afloat sites, including various system readiness assessments.
- Collaborate as a generalist on a team focused on the development and integration of current and future DCGS-N system builds.

Pay Range : $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
