Description
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Enterprise Development, Application,
and Training (EDAT) mission. In this mission we are focused on providing innovative, data-driven solutions and enterprise architecture enhancements to enable seamless operations across USSOCOM's global network. The program emphasizes rapid development and deployment of technologies to enhance the mobility and readiness of Special Operations Forces (SOF) in both combat and non-combat scenarios. Key tasks include program management, application development, training support, and technology integration to maintain USSOCOM's operational edge. The EDAT program underscores agility and adaptability, ensuring SOF professionals have access to the information and tools they need to meet evolving mission requirements.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design and oversee the implementation of software and IT solutions that align with the EDAT program's requirements and long-term mission objectives.
- Develop detailed system architectures that meet both functional and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into actionable system designs and architectures.
- Ensure that all solutions align with mission objectives, project regulations, and DoD standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development, integration, and deployment of solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability of all components.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering, development, and operations teams, ensuring solutions are implemented securely and efficiently.
- Monitor system performance, identifying areas for optimization to improve efficiency and meet evolving project demands.
- Recommend and implement architectural adjustments to enhance reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of solution development, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions to ensure transparency and alignment across the program.
- Ensure all architectural designs and implementations adhere to DoD regulations, including DISA STIG, NIST 800-53, and RMF.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls and best practices into all solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to recommend improvements and innovations that enhance project outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new tools and approaches to advance program capabilities.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
