Job Description
The System Administrator will configure, install, manage, and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software. This includes supporting IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
- BS and 14 years of experience troubleshooting software installations and operations OR 19 years of experience without a degree
- Understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues
- 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems
- Experience understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues
- Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi
- Willing to perform shift work
