Leidos is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Veterans Affairs Account Director to foster and enhance strategic relationships within the Veterans Affairs (VA) sector, including the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and the Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This role requires a proven track record with substantial experience in supporting VA missions and operations, combined with exceptional relationship-building skills and a robust professional network. You'll play a pivotal role in engaging with key decision-makers to support strategic initiatives and drive innovative solutions.
Our team has consistently delivered complex health programs to the Defense Health Agency and the VA, excelling in military and VA health systems, data security, and global electronic health record (EHR) integrations. Since 1998, Leidos QTC Health Services has been a dedicated partner to the VBA.
The Account Director will devise account strategies that align with our customers' vision, spearhead customer engagement, and drive innovative initiatives. You'll be integral to identifying new business opportunities and formulating winning strategies for key contracts. This role is essential for promoting our extensive capabilities while building and sustaining our reputation within the VA.
Primary Responsibilities :
Enhance and maintain engagement with senior leaders across VHA and VBA.
Analyze customer direction, trends, and strategic opportunities for the next 3-5 years to inform strategic captures and internal leadership.
Support strategic planning through insights on customer mission evolution, funding profiles, and operational approaches.
Become a thought leader within the customer community, effectively communicating the unique capabilities of Leidos programs related to IT and data management.
Integrate technological and healthcare innovations into our strategies.
Develop tailored account strategies and objectives.
Collaborate with various teams within Leidos to ensure a cohesive approach in delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
Contribute insights to proposals and pricing strategies based on in-depth customer knowledge.
Establish strategic partnerships with industry leaders to drive innovation and uncover business opportunities.
Organize meetings with industry partners to gain insights into market acquisition strategies.
Provide insights and assessments for competitive intelligence reports regarding customer, partner, and competitor activities.
Conduct assessments on contract performance and relay feedback across Leidos.
Engage regularly with management, functional leads, and customers to foster strong relationships.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related technical or health field, with 15 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 13 years of related experience.
Extensive expertise and existing relationships within VHA and VBA.
Proven leadership experience with 13 years managing teams.
Deep understanding of government customers and their needs.
Access to key government customers and industry partners.
Experience with federal budget, investments, and acquisition processes.
Proven ability to innovate and apply creative solutions to promote business growth.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse organizational levels.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance are required.

Self-starter with strong time management skills.

Pay Range : Pay Range $216,800.00 - $348,750.00
