Leidos DigMod Sector is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our DISA IT Business Area. This opportunity is available in locations such as Reston, VA, Columbia, MD, or Scott Air Force Base.
Job Summary :
As CTO, you will define and execute the technical strategy for the DISA IT Business Area while collaborating with division leadership and the Leidos Office of Technology (OOT) Accelerator Leaders, including Cyber, Application Development, and AI. Your experience in winning major captures across Application Modernization, Defensive Cyber, Digital Experience, Networks, and Cloud / Data Center will be key in driving innovative and superior solutions. Building strong trust-based relationships with business and growth leadership is essential as you provide insights to ensure successful program delivery and position Leidos as a leader in innovation. You will represent DISA IT at external events, understanding our customer's modernization journeys and advocating for their needs, while identifying opportunities for innovative pilots through corporate OOT functions.
Travel requirements for the role are approximately 25%.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Drive solution strategies for DISA IT's priority captures, aiming for top evaluations and sustainable growth by collaborating with line and growth leadership.
- Build and enhance a talented team of Solutions Architects to deliver innovative solutions aligned with DISA IT needs.
- Manage and deploy key technical talent effectively to match priorities with resources.
- Develop trust-based relationships with Division Managers and growth leadership to aid in achieving growth and customer satisfaction.
- Engage in industry events to showcase Leidos capabilities and build relationships with DISA customers.
- Support marketing and sales by understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities for value addition from Leidos.
- Collaborate across the broader Leidos technical community to promote a unified vision.
- Advocate for prioritizing DISA IT's needs in investment strategy for repeatable capabilities.
- Work with DISA IT leadership to develop a portfolio of investments and govern execution phases of those investments.
- Engage current and prospective customers to demonstrate solutions and understand their challenges.
- Promote partnerships with innovative technology providers to showcase emerging technologies.
