As a Service Advisor at Riata Ford, you'll play a vital role in helping customers with their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. Your top priority will be delivering exceptional customer service by listening to concerns, providing accurate information on services, and guiding them through the repair process.
You'll also be responsible for managing customer appointments, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely and precise documentation and invoicing. Staying informed about Ford vehicles, maintenance schedules, and the latest repair techniques is crucial for success in this role.
To thrive in this position, you must be organized, friendly, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional, well-groomed appearance and a consistent record of customer service success are also essential. You should be team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Ford vehicles and maintenance procedures is a plus, as is proficiency in basic computer skills, including experience with service management software and point-of-sale systems. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in an automotive service department, dealership, or related field is preferred.
