As an automotive technician at Leif Johnson Automotive, you will be responsible for performing work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. You will also be responsible for test-driving vehicles and using diagnostic tools and special service equipment to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.

To be considered for this position, you should have at least 1 year of service technician experience and possess mechanical and troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. You should also have excellent customer service skills, a positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
-
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems in the categories you specialize in

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if any additional service is needed.

Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
-
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
-
1 years of Service Technician experience preferred

Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively

Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
