The Cutter Operator is responsible for set-up, operating, or tending machines that cut or slide fabric. This person will handle and move objects, and inspect materials, structures, and equipment ensuring a safe work environment for themselves and their coworkers.
- Record weight of bales on cutting report.
- Open bales for loading into cutters.
- Check line that it is running well. Unclog if it gets stuck.
- Clean cutter belts and cutter under blade head.
- clean blending box trays.
