BARTENDER/SERVER
We are seeking to hire a dynamic and friendly Server/Bartender for our new Restaurant in Kaimuki, led by Chef Chris Kajioka and Chef Mourad Lahlou. This new concept, Leila, is an elegant fusion of Moroccan inspired cuisine with vibrant Mediterranean flavors characteristic of the rich cultural they celebrate.
Located in the heart of Kaimuki, Leila’s exquisite dishes represent the rich flavor profile found across the Moroccan landscape. With masterful craftsmanship and award winning service, Chef Chirs and Chef Mourad’s newest restaurant addition embodies the stylish and charming personality of the surrounding neighborhood.

We are looking for a Service Bartender/Server to join our team!
Passionate hospitality professionals who are self-motivated, organized, and hardworking are encouraged to apply. This role is more of service well position with cross-training as a server. You will be responsible for all beverage prep and production in the restaurant.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:
- Available 5 days per week (Tues - Sat)
- Detail oriented, follows through and can multitask and prioritize needs while maintaining composure, focus and productivity
- Warm, friendly and an excellent communicator
- Able to work quickly and adapt on the go
- Passionate about providing guests with high-quality service
- Able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and can lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Knowledgeable about spirits and comfortable preparing a cocktail and explaining its ingredients
- Skilled in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Knowledgeable in wine is a plus***
A TASTE OF THE ROLE:
- Able to execute basic bartending skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Provide a friendly and caring experience for every guest that comes into the restaurant, upholding the restaurant’s hospitality standards
- Anticipate guest needs and always maintain positive guest relations
- Keep bar area clean, sanitized, and organized in accordance with company guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
- Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the guests at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times
- Perform alcohol inventories as instructed to help in maintaining proper inventory levels
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company policies/service procedures/standards
- Complete opening side and closing side duties thoroughly and efficiently as assigned
