Bindery Supervisor

Premier printing company in TN is very busy. Due to growth, the company is searching to hire an experienced 2nd shift Bindery Supervisor to oversee and direct all binding and finishing operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and direct all binding and finishing operations on 2nd shift.
• Lead and manage 20 - 30 direct reports.
• Schedule jobs on appropriate equipment and employees.
• Train, mentor and motivate bindery employees.
• Review 2nd shift manufacturing goals with bindery manager at start of shift.
• Collaborate with peer managers and senior level management on production issues.
• Use Continuous Improvement Practices to improve manufacturing processes.
• Build strong cross functional teams.
  
  

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in commercial binding operations.
• Strong operational knowledge of cutting, folding, binding, and stitching.
• Experience using Continuous Improvement Practices in manufacturing operations.
• Good employee training, mentoring, and motivating skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Process improvement oriented.
• Team builder
• PC proficient
• Able to work 3:30 - midnight.
  
  

Starting salary range $75,000 - $90,000 benefits, 401k match, and relocation assistance.
