Description Job Summary
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Lift Maintenance Technician I to provide expert maintenance and repairs for a wide variety of ski lifts, gondolas, and tram systems.
This role will work directly with customers to troubleshoot faulty machinery and diagnose the root cause of any malfunction using diagnostic tools & technical expertise.
Diagnostic information, customer communications, and services performed will all be documented in LPOA's task management system in compliance with health & safety regulations as well as standard operating procedure(s).
This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $22.00-$26.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of heavy mechanical repair experience.
- Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings & prints.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
- Authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Proficient in the English language.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in ski lift maintenance & repair.
- Advanced experience and/or certifications in welding.
- At least 1 year of previous NDT experience (MT/PT).
