Metal Sales Specialist

Reports To: Sales Lead Title: Metal Building Sales Specialist

Salary Range: Commission up to $100k Location: Grandview, Texas

Work Hours: Monday -Friday

Position Purpose:

This position serves as an inside sales representative and coordinates customer support from quote to delivery. The pre-sale job duties include educating the customer, understanding, and interpreting project requirements, developing project specifications, providing quotes, and obtaining contracts and deposits. Maintain positive relationships with customers.

Essential Job Functions

Sales:

• Strong time management and detail oriented required.
• Generate professional project estimates and sales of metal buildings.
• Consistently meet sales quota and target Key Performance Indicators for the month/year.
• Track all sales activities in Hubspot and keep current by updating account information regularly.
• ·Ensure each sale complies with pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize social media platforms, including online chat forums to build and generate leads.
• Heavy phone and internet communication.
• Maintain the sales pipeline in a fast-paced office setting.

Lot:

• Maintain lot: Keep area clean and customer appealing.

Compensation:

• Four weeks of $500 a week paid training.
• After paid training, straight commission at 6%. After 90-day probation period and if markers are met, commission goes up to 7%.

Safety:

• Performs preventive maintenance on office tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
• Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to manager.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience: 2 years experience in sales or 3 years in a service-oriented industry. A combination of both will be considered.

Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.

Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.

Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.

Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 10 lbs.).

Environment: Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours.

Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.

Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.
