Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 / year
You Are:
- An experienced commercial AV/ technology system designer that has specialized in commercial AV for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a sales team along with direct client interaction. You love technology and are passionate about the creation of systems that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal.
- Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation of commercial technology systems using tools such as CAD & Revit (Ideally), with deep knowledge of AV & Control Systems (Crestron & QSys) and Networks. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.
- This position is On-Site (NOT Remote or Hybrid)

- Creation of design and engineering documentation for low-voltage system implementation in commercial environments
- Understand design software (ideally CAD and or Revit)
- Deep understanding of signal flow, networks, lighting/shading systems, and control systems
- Design & Layout: Equipment rooms and AV infrastructure
- Bid & Construction Docs: Drawings, narratives, and specs
- Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects
- Compliance: Industry standards and best practices
- 3yrs in CAD/Revit modeling and one-line drawings (samples requested on 1st message).
- Familiarity with distributed and large-format sound systems, DSP & control systems, and distributed video (IPTV).
- Design & Integration of Commercial AV Systems
- Strong understanding of the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- CTS or CTS-D certification is desirable but not required
- $90k to $110k/yr – Yup!
