Overview

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently stock product from totes and/or pallets into picking and/or bulk storage area. This worker is also accountable for picking and packing parts for customer orders in preparation for shipping.

Job Functions

• Stocks in-bound product into warehouse inventory, maintaining the established processes for good practices, stocking can be done from pallets, and/or totes into self-ship, and/or bulk storage areas
• Picks parts for customer orders, maintaining the established processes for good practices, this includes scanning the carton barcode to obtain location of product, scanning barcode label on the tote for part number, quantity, and parts location, scanning product from picking location(s), placing label on box along with master invoice and finish the sequence by placing package properly on conveyor
• Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
• Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Education

• High School or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 80 pounds, occasionally
• Must be able to reach a minimum height of 5 feet
• Must be able to move about inside the warehouse while carrying product
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written
• Must be able to read from a screen
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders and stairs
• Must be able to push 80 pounds, occasionally
• Must be able to hold a 2-pound handheld device
