Overview
The General Warehouse Worker is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing or stocking product from totes and/or pallets into picking and/or bulk storage area. This worker is accountable for picking and packing parts for customer orders in preparation for shipping.
Essential Functions
- Stocks in-bound product into warehouse inventory, maintaining the established processes for good practices, Stocking can be done from pallets, and/or totes into self-ship, and/or bulk storage areas
- Picks parts for customer orders, maintaining the established processes for good practices, this includes scanning the carton barcode to obtain location of product, scanning barcode label on the tote for part number, quantity, and parts location, scanning product from picking location(s), placing label on box along with master invoice and finish the sequence by placing package properly on conveyor
- Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
- Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations
- Other tasks as assigned and/or needed
Non-essential functions
- Covers other positions as needed
Required Qualifications and Education
- 1-year experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good mathematics skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good time management skills
