Overview
The Warehouse Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for all managerial aspects of warehouse maintenance with emphasis on workforce supervision and departmental maintenance satisfaction. The Warehouse Technician 3 contributes to the development of a stable and responsive work facility including preventative maintenance , maintenance training, evaluation, and promotion of maintenance employees. The Warehouse Technician 3 is accountable for promoting employees to follow safety rules and procedures; The Warehouse Technician 3 is accountable for building, equipment, and all security related equipment.
Job Functions
- Assists to the development of a stable and responsive maintenance workforce including recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of maintenance employees promoting a healthy and motivated environment for employees to thrive at their work
- Ensures maintenance employees follow all safety protocols
- Attends safety meetings and encourages all employees to follow safety rules, and procedures
- Follows building, and equipment security protocols according to company procedures
- Coordinates and promotes superior responsive service, maintaining established timeframes preventative maintenance
- Recommends staffing levels for all maintenance departments according to business needs
- Plans and supervises training of new and existing employees ensuring flexibility and responsiveness of workforce to adapt to the daily demands
- Supervises maintenance inventory, assuring strict adherence to existing workflows and expected results
- Understands the technology, processes, and flows of a fast paced, high volume distribution center
- Maintains orderly housekeeping of building and grounds
- Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Education
- Education Level : High School or equivalent
- Experience Level : 2-4 Years - Details : Experience in maintenance, warehouse environment preferred
