LeMans Corporation, the leading global distributor of motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV/UTV and personal watercraft parts and accessories headquartered in Janesville, Wisconsin has an immediate openings for fulltime Warehouse Packers
Overview
The Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently pack parts for customer orders in preparation for shipping.
REQUIRED SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8:30 - 5:00 (5:30 if busy)
Essential Functions
- Check product on totes for accuracy, ensuring all parts designated for that specific tote are present
- Utilizes Blue Light procedure for missing or incorrect product
- Knows rules involved when packing ORMD and hazardous materials including when to affix identity labels or placards
- Executes all steps involved in packing product: selects appropriate box size; inserts product; packing slip, and master invoice; affixes shipping label and/or placards; and places carton on shipping conveyor
- Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
- Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations.
- Other tasks as assigned and/or needed
Required Qualifications and Education
- 1 year experience in warehouse/Distribution Center environment preferred
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good organizational skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to stand and walk the entire shift
- Ability to climb stairs
- Experience using a hand held RF scanner
