Overview

The Picking – Stocking warehouse worker is responsible for accurately and efficiently stock product from totes and/or pallets into picking and/or bulk storage area. This worker is also accountable for picking parts for customer orders.

Essential Functions

• Stocks in-bound product into warehouse inventory, maintaining the established processes for good practices, Stocking can be done from pallets, and/or totes into self-ship, and/or bulk storage areas
• Picks parts for customer orders, maintaining the established processes for good practices, this includes scanning the carton barcode to obtain location of product, scanning barcode label on the tote for part number, quantity, and parts location, scanning product from picking location(s), placing in bins on a conveyor system.
• Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
• Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned and/or needed

Non-essential functions

• Cover other positions as needed

Required Qualifications and Education

• 1 year experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to work well in a team
• Good mathematics skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good time management skills

• Must be able to move up to 80 pounds, employees are encouraged to use good judgment with heavy or bulky packages, seek help when lifting objects exceeding 35 pounds
• Must be able to reach a maximum height of 6 feet

• Must be able to move about inside the warehouse
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written
• Must be able to read from a screen
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders and stairs
• Must be able to remain stationary for 7 hours a day

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
