About the Role:
The HR/Benefits Manager will drive HR strategy and operations, focusing on employee engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, and benefits administration. This role is key to aligning our HR practices with our business goals while maintaining compliance and supporting a dynamic company culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Develop and implement HR strategies for performance management, recruitment, retention, learning, and compliance.
- Design scalable onboarding processes to enhance the employee experience.
- Partner with leadership to ensure talent and performance align with company goals and values.
- Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and retention efforts.
- Provide leadership and training on performance appraisals, mentoring, and coaching.
- Address employee relations, dispute resolution, and compliance with employment laws.
- Oversee HRIS data maintenance and reporting.
Benefits Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.
- Oversee leave administration, disability paperwork, and benefits renewals.
- Conduct RFPs for brokers and carriers as needed.
- Develop employee reward programs and merit pay initiatives.
- Provide competitive salary recommendations and manage compensation analysis.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification (e.g., SHRM) preferred.
- 5 years of HR experience, including 3 years in compensation and benefits management.
- Expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, training, and compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills for analytics and reporting.
- Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS software.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- A hands-on, collaborative approach to leadership and problem-solving.
