Responsibilities & Duties
- Sales: Strong sales leadership (preferably in a high-end environment), regularly training all staff – by example – in the art of low-key, relational sales leading to long-term customer loyalty
- Operations: Responsible for all day-to-day store operations, under oversight of owners. This includes, but is not limited to, shipping and receiving, pricing and preparing product for sales floor, dealing with missing and defective product, tracking inventory and helping to anticipate re-order needs, re-stocking, participating in identifying new product, keeping the store clean and tidy
- Staff: Motivate and train staff in Lemon Tree procedures, product knowledge, and superior customer service standards; handle staff issues
- Financial: Oversee accuracy of daily sales reports & balancing of cash drawer
- Technology: Regular Social Media photos/postings, help to implement POS system, including staff training, some data entry, and report development
- Merchandising: A passion (and skill!) for creating and maintaining visual excellence in product display and merchandising, in accordance with Lemon Tree visual standards
- Marketing/Advertising: Assist with and contribute to marketing and advertising strategies
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous retail sales and management experience preferred
- Strong basic math skills
- Computer, Point of Sale (POS) essential, social media experience ideal
- College degree preferred, High School degree required

Additional Requirements
- Professional attire, demeanor, and appearance by adhering to company dress standards that are reflective of the lovely environment that Lemon Tree offers our workers and customers. This includes no visible tattoos or facial piercings. The Store Manager sets the example for all other employees.

- Ability to work flexible 5-day work week, to include some nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to spend time learning details of product information
- Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business

- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 40 lbs., while utilizing appropriate safety techniques
- Ability to go up and down stairs quickly, carrying product, and to kneel, bend, twist, stretch and stoop when working on displays and putting away product
- Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards
