What you're applying for
Calling all data scientists! We're searching for a data scientist and math nerd with a passion for insurance and ML / AI. In this role, you'll lead exciting innovations around how Lemonade uses AI in pricing.
We are looking for a full stack data scientist to join our incredible Data Science Pricing team to help Lemonade fulfill its mission to deliver killer pricing. You will work closely with the Actuarial and Insurance Product organizations to develop models that help transition the traditional insurance pricing world to AI. You'll work on top of Lemonade's proprietary ML tech stack, responsible for everything from vetting new data sources to deploying the models used to price all of our product lines (and countries!)

In this role you'll
- Research and apply advanced solutions to real business problems
- Take full responsibility for projects end-to-end, from high-level business strategy all the way through production deployment
- Collaborate extensively with the Actuarial team to develop, file, implement, and monitor new predictive models for our Home, Renters, Car, and Pet products
- Apply and inspire the adoption of advanced data science throughout our Insurance organization

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $121,000-135,000 equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Speak to your recruiter to hear more about the specific salary range for your preferred location.
