We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our Director of Nursing (DON) in reshaping our nursing team, staffing structures, and spearheading overall change management. The ADON will play a key role in supervising clinical initiatives, monitoring key performance metrics, and enhancing patient satisfaction. Additionally, the ADON will focus on mentorship, staff development, and increasing morale within the nursing department. Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Requirements:
- Licensed as an RN in the state of Illinois
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility
- Previous nurse supervisor experience
- Expertise in staff education and change management
As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will:
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department in accordance with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
- Work alongside the QA Nurse to develop, maintain, and implement the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing department.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and periodically updating resident discharge plans.
- Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting, as necessary throughout the day.
