As a Lemontree Healthcare Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming, professional, and helpful environment for everyone who enters the healthcare facility. You will guide visitors, provide essential information, assist with patient check-ins, and ensure a smooth and efficient flow of individuals entering and exiting the building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming Visitors: Greet all patients, visitors, and staff warmly as they enter the facility, ensuring a friendly and professional environment.
- Patient Assistance: Help patients with check-in procedures and direct them to the appropriate department or waiting area.
- Answering Questions: Provide basic information about the facility, including directions, services offered, and department locations.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all visitors follow health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 screening, mask-wearing, and hand sanitizing procedures.
- Managing Traffic Flow: Monitor and manage the flow of people entering and exiting the facility to ensure efficient operations and social distancing protocols.
- Communication: Relay any patient or visitor needs to appropriate staff or departments, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Appointment Confirmation: Confirm patient appointments and assist with rescheduling if necessary.
- Support Services: Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, helping with paperwork, or directing queries to the relevant department.
- Problem-Solving: Address any concerns or issues that arise in a professional and calm manner, escalating issues to management if needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service or healthcare training is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Friendly, approachable, and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
