Valet Associate
Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a courteous, reliable, and professional Valet Associate to provide exceptional valet services to patients, visitors, and staff at our healthcare facilities. The Valet Associate will be responsible for greeting guests, assisting with vehicle parking and retrieval, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. This role is key in ensuring a positive first impression and a smooth experience for everyone visiting or working at Lemontree Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Parking & Retrieval:
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a warm, professional attitude as they arrive at the facility.
- Park and retrieve vehicles in a timely, efficient, and safe manner, ensuring that vehicles are handled with care.
- Monitor vehicle traffic flow and manage parking areas to ensure efficient use of space and minimal wait times for guests.
- Customer Service & Assistance:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with any questions, offering directions to hospital departments, and addressing concerns or requests.
- Assist patients and visitors in and out of their vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort, especially for individuals with special needs or mobility challenges.
- Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor at all times, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Vehicle Handling & Safety:
- Ensure the safe operation of vehicles while parking and retrieving, including following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform routine checks of vehicles to ensure that doors are locked and windows are up before parking.
- Report any damage or issues with vehicles to the Valet Manager or Security Supervisor immediately.
- Traffic Control & Organization:
- Direct traffic around the valet area and ensure that vehicles are parked in an orderly manner, without obstructing pathways or emergency exits.
- Help guide guests to available parking spots while managing peak traffic times and ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintaining Valet Station:
- Ensure the valet station is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist in keeping the valet area free of debris, clutter, and obstacles that could impede vehicle flow or pose a safety risk.
- Ensure that valet tickets, keys, and equipment are securely handled and tracked.
- Incident Reporting & Communication:
- Communicate any issues or incidents (e.g., accidents, delays, customer complaints) to the Valet Manager or Security Supervisor promptly.
- Keep accurate logs of vehicles parked and retrieved, noting any special instructions or requests from guests.
- Teamwork & Support:
- Work closely with other valet team members, as well as security and facility staff, to ensure a smooth operation.
- Assist other team members during peak times or when additional support is needed.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or valet role is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a healthcare or medical facility is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work efficiently during busy or peak times.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and report any incidents.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- CPR, First Aid, or other emergency response certifications are a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often in outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, if necessary, and assist guests with entering and exiting vehicles.
- Must be able to drive vehicles safely and comfortably, including cars of various sizes.
