Your Role on the Team:
As an Automotive Technician at Len's Auto Repair, you'll be the backbone of our service center, responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes. Your duties will include routine maintenance, system diagnostics, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with fellow technicians to deliver top-notch service. Your role will also involve road testing vehicles post-repair to guarantee mechanical soundness.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 5 years of automotive diagnosis and repair experience
- Valid driver's license and Missouri State Inspectors License
- Proficiency in reading and understanding wiring diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities
- ASE Certifications (A1-A8, L1) preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnosing and performing repairs on various vehicle systems
- Writing detailed inspection reports for Service Advisors
- Collaborating with team members for efficient service delivery
- Conducting road tests post-repair to ensure vehicle soundness
- Staying updated on new automotive technologies
Qualifications Include:
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and professional work environment
- Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and squatting
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm
