Overview
The Vehicle Solutions Specialist is a dynamic and driven individual responsible for engaging with customers who come in for vehicle service, identifying their needs, and offering them the opportunity to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers. The Vehicle Solutions Specialist will work closely with both the service and sales teams to create seamless customer experiences that result in increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Customer Engagement: Approach customers who bring their vehicles in for service, initiate conversations, and identify potential needs or interests in upgrading or purchasing a new vehicle. Connect them with a Sales Consultant to handle the transaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the service team to identify customers who may benefit from a new vehicle based on their service history and vehicle condition.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership’s inventory, promotions, and financing options to effectively present options to customers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with service customers to foster trust and encourage repeat business.
- Follow-Up: Engage in post-service follow-up to check on customer satisfaction and explore further sales opportunities.

Qualifications:
- No prior experience or training is required, however prior sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; the ability to obtain a state issued sales license, if required.
