What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Match Supervisor position at Len - Tex Corporation?
Summary: Responsible for supervising the Team of Pre-Matchers on a daily basis. Responsible for making large quantity color batches from color standards to be used in our manufacturing process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees and provides direction daily for Pre-Match Team members
- Knowledge in X-Rite
- Perform color-matching drawdowns to standards as needed
- Follow established processes and procedures
- Properly manage material to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Label ink being developed to ink room standards with new drawdowns and weight affixed to pail.
- Maintains accurate mixed ink inventory in x-rite software.
- Reduce downtime wherever possible.
- Record ink usage on production order.
- Keep pre-match areas clean and orderly at all times. Assist with weekly department cleanups.
- Other duties as assigned.
